SERVICE PROVISIONER

Position Summary:

Under limited supervision, this position manages the processing and ordering of all TDM, Ethernet, and Collocation orders, from order placement to test and turn-up. This includes submitting and managing facility and port orders to underlying carriers and network partners, while working cohesively with internal departments. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submit ASR, LSR and Port Out requests to underlying/losing carriers
  • Build and activate subscriptions in the NPAC SMS system for port orders
  • Create/Update ALI records for 911 services
  • Create/Update the LIDB/CNAM database for caller ID information
  • Create/Update directory listings
  • Update internal systems accurately, and in a timely manner, as it pertains to orders in progress and interactions with carriers or internal departments
  • Provide timely updates to internal departments regarding order progress
  • Escalate to internal departments and carriers, as needed, to provide resolution on orders rejected, in need of clarification, or in jeopardy
  • Understand and execute multiple processes, dependent upon various products and underlying providers
  • Handle special projects assigned by management, as needed

Job Requirements: 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:

  • 3-5 years
