Access One Launches New Corporate Branding Program; Underscores Commitment to Serving Growing Businesses

Chicago, IL (December 8, 2010)  Access One, the Chicago-based telecommunications firm that provides clients with cutting-edge Internet, data, voice and other services, has launched a new corporate branding program that underscores its ongoing commitment to meeting the communications needs of small and middle market businesses.  The branding program includes a new corporate identity program and logo, the launch of a new corporate website and the introduction of a revamped sales program.

“We recognized that we were at a turning point,” said Access One CEO Brian Barkley.  “We see our future as the communications provider that best understands the needs of our target market and that is uniquely suited to giving them a productivity advantage in all their business communications.

“In order to get bigger, we have to get even better at meeting those needs.  Part of the challenge is to stand out in our customers’ minds from our competitors.  The rebranding program is designed to help us do that.”

The company, which serves customers nationwide, sees a special opportunity for growth in the Chicago metropolitan area.  “As the only independent data and telecommunications company headquartered in Chicago, we have a unique perspective on what the area’s businesses need,” said Access One President Mark Jozwiak.  “We know that our customers are competing in a global economy and that their success rests in large measure on reliable, effective data and telecom services.  With our state-of-the-art network, we’re positioned to provide the gateway for our customers’ success.”

Barkley added that, in addition to underscoring Access One’s technological excellence, the new branding program will emphasize the company’s customer service:  “Too many communications companies see the job as complete when they have their network up and running.   We see that step as just the beginning.  We focus on developing new products to meet our customers’ changing needs.  And we’re committed to ongoing communications with our customers.  That means listening to them as well as bringing our message to them.

“In the final analysis, our new branding program highlights the fact that Access One is the data and telecommunications provider that best understands the unique needs of growing businesses.”
