Access One Names Levy Senior VP & Chief Operating Officer

Chicago, IL (February 16, 2011) Chicago-based telecommunications firm Access One has named Larry Levy Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.  Levy has served as the company’s Vice President of Finance since 2007. 

“Larry brings a wealth of operations experience and financial management expertise to this new position,” said Access One CEO Brian Barkley.  “Since joining our company as VP of Finance in 2007, he has been an integral part of our senior executive team, and has demonstrated the leadership we need to improve all facets of our operation, enabling us to bring Access One to the next level.”

Access One President Mark Jozwiak added, “Larry had built an impressive track record of improving operational productivity and bottom line financial performance at a variety of media companies prior to joining Access One.  As we structured our management team to implement our vision for the future, we knew Larry’s combination of operating experience and financial expertise would be critical to our objective of accelerating growth.”

Levy joined Access One after serving as Chief Financial Officer of Devine Sports.  His previous experience also includes serving as Chief Operating Officer of Marathon Media, a Chicago-based radio broadcast company that owned 95 stations in 25 markets in the Midwest and Northwest, and in executive positions with Berryman Communications, HispaniMedia and Chase Broadcasting.

Levy holds a BA in Economics from Vassar College and a Master’s in Accounting from Pace University’s Lubin Graduate School of Business.   He and his family live in Chicago.
