"Access One has done a great job in managing my account, offering me competitive, low rates, and always keeping in touch to make sure that all is well. When I was with other telecom companies, I never got the personalized service that I get with Access One. It is their commitment to high standards that has kept me a customer for over 9 years."

POTS lines, also referred to as Plain Old Telephone Service or single telephone lines, are telephones connected by a pair of copper wires, similar to a LAN line in your home. With a POTS line, only one call can be made or received at a time although additional a la carte features, such as three-way calling and call waiting, are available to enhance POTS’ existing capabilities. Your business can group together several lines into a hunt group to ensure accurate call distribution.
While it may seem outdated, POTS still has its benefits, namely, the golden standard of “five nines” reliability (99.999% uptime) which equates to only about five minutes of downtime per year. Even if you lose power, these phones have their own power supply through dedicated copper lines, meaning you still have a reliable backup phone for use in power outages and emergencies when everything else is down.
