The .NET Developer will be responsible for building new and enhancing existing systems. We are seeking a smart, driven individual who can learn new concepts quickly and is open to new ideas. This position requires you to be able to work independently but also ask for guidance and recommendations when necessary.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build new and enhance existing systems using .NET, SQL, MVC, etc.
Work with the IS/IT team to efficiently effectively deploy developed project deliverables.
Analyze requirements and design solutions for projects.
Work within team to prepare estimates and Level of Effort for tasked projects.
Test, debug, document and implement projection solutions.
Create technical documentation for corresponding projects, tickets and tasks.
Ensure developed code is compliant with best standards and practices.
Continuously enhance features, functionality and process to achieve organization goals.
Creating front-end user experiences that best accomplish project requirements.
Stay up to date on the latest standards and technology.
Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years (or greater) equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be proficient with SQL Server; Designing tables, views, stored procedures, etc. to meet business requirements.
Experience integrating custom applications with back-end SQL functions such as tables, views, executing stored procedures.
Experience integrating applications with third-party API (SOAP, REST, WSDL, etc.)
Understanding of creating API functionality for vendors to integrate intofor cross-system actions, data moves, and processes.
Experience with JSON and XML transformations.
Experience developing front end and user experience with database integrations.
Integrated applications with secure login experiences and Active Directory (LDAP).
Analytical skills to properly scope project timelines, level of effort and ensure deliverable deadlines are met.
Strong communication skills.
Able to work independently and within a team environment.
General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
